Emphysema valves are now international guidelines for COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) treatment.

“ETHNIKI ASFALISTIKI” has approved and covered emphysema valves placement to a patient with emphysema and severe dyspnoea.

 Yesterday (10/10/17) we placed at “HYGEIA” hospital’s bronchoscopy suite 4 ZEPHYR valves from PULMONEX company excluding the left lower lobe of a 54year old man. The valves were supplied exclusively  to Greece for our laboratory
